Maternity Care Matters

Maternity Care Matters

Welcome to Maternity Care Matters, a group of parents, midwives, doctors and other health professionals who help to shape and improve your local maternity services in east and north Hertfordshire.

Expecting a child is one of the most exciting and also one of the scariest times for mums and dads. Often we don't know what to expect, what to do or where to find information. Our aim is to help and support you through and beyond the experience of having a baby and to make this as easy and happy a time for you as possible.

In some areas, this support group is called Maternity Services Liaison Commitee (MSLC); click here to find our more about what they do. You can also find lots of information and guidance about first finding out you are pregnant to giving birth, caring for your newborn at home and being a family by visiting the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust maternity unit web pages.

If you are a new mum or dad and would like to get involved and be part of Maternity Care Matters...

Read our Maternity Care Matters leaflet for information then email engagement@enhertsccg.nhs.uk with your contact details and someone will be in touch.

Get involved and make a difference; we look forward to you joining us.
