Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust: Equality Strategy consultation

Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust: Equality Strategy consultation

Since July 2017 Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT), one of the mental health services provider in Hertfordshire, have been working with stakeholders to co-produce a new Equality Plan for the next four years.

Following feedback from the initial public consultation (in late 2017) they have reviewed the draft document and extended the consultation period.  This plan is now out to public consultation until 5pm on Friday 16th March 2018 and will launch in April 2018.

HPFT are particularly interested to hear from people who have specific feedback to give in relation to age, race & culture, sexuality and personal relationships, religion & beliefs, gender identity and disability.  This may be either personal lived experience or as an ally.

You can view the consultation plan by clicking here.

When feeding back HPFT would like to ask people to consider the following questions:

  • Does the strategy feel dynamic? (if no, why not?)
  • Do you feel it will work toward meeting the needs of protected groups?
  • What is missing? (please recommend additions)
  • What is good about the document?

Please send any comments to equality@hpft.nhs.uk
