Feeling Good Week 2017

Feeling Good Week 2017

It's time to bid for a share of the £20,000 Feeling Good Week 2017 funding pot.

Feeling Good Week 2017, which aims to improve the health and mental health of young people in Hertfordshire, starts on Saturday 18 February.

Organisations have until 1 January 2017 to apply for a grant towards a Feeling Good Week event. Anyone can bid for funding, including schools, children’s centres, school councils and youth organisations.

A group of young people will review the applications, submitted through Healthwatch Hertfordshire, and judge which should be funded.

In February 2016, children and young people across Hertfordshire tried yoga, learned about mindfulness and even mastered circus skills during Feeling Good Week.

Funding earmarked by East and North Hertfordshire CCG, Herts Valleys CCG and Hertfordshire County Council was shared between 43 projects to improve the physical and mental health of children and young people. You can find out more in Hertfordshire Healthwatch’s report here.
